Is my training heading the right direction?
I (30M) recently ran a 1:33 HM but am looking to improve all my other PBs.
5k - 20:20
10k - 41:21
HM - 1:33
FM - 3:42
I think marathon is my least priority atm due to having a young child recently so struggling to increase mileage. Currently running roughly 30-45km a week: 10km easy run and a long run usually 15-20km which is roughly 6-6:30 per km pace. I then do one workout a week which is usually something like 3x3k at 4:20 per km pace with a 3 min recovery jog in between, every few weeks I will swap this for a 6x 1k session at roughly 3:50 per km pace.
Am I training properly, are my easy runs too slow? Which if my PBs could be improved soon? Would love to go sub 19, sub 40 and sub 1:30 then eventually sub 3:30 for the marathon.
