Needing positivity poor response to STIMs and going for egg retrieval. Suggestions for next steps.
My RE gave me so much hope for my egg retrieval. I'm age 36 with AMH 2.5 ng/mL (18 pmol/L) and AFC of 20 then 22 (after 3 months of supplements day 1 of this egg rertiveal)
This would be my second child the first conceived relatively easily. Although found out at birth to have a rare genetic condition. We pursued IVF for PGTM found out that wasnt an option (after a lengthy proces) and decided to keep trying during the process we were diagnosed with secondary unexplained infertility. Although I suspect possible lining issues. As my lining was 6.5cm today after STIMs. Biopsies for CE/endo negative (although we did preemptively treat for CE).
I just found out today I only have 5 follicles on day 12 of stims of the right size and another 7 that just never "got there". We were quoted a 50% chance of one euploid. It seems impossible well be successful with possible lining issues and our RE was hoping to do have three euploids and quoted us a high success.
I know IVF can be a hard process. But the clinic stated I was less than 10% of responders. We are paying privately and so I dont think another retrieval is on the cards. Hoping for similar stories and success. Seems pretty hopeless right now!
