Vinted banned my Pro account for commercial selling !!?
Has anyone managed to get their Vinted Pro account back after a permanent ban?
I had a Vinted Pro account in the UK with around 900 listings, and about 99% of them were second-hand. Vinted permanently banned my account, saying I had three new-with-tags items left after the warning period. Previously they suspended my account for finding 30 items NWT, in my wardrobe of 900 items !!
What I don’t understand is that the rules refer to “large quantities of brand-new items”, and I don’t see how three items out of 900 counts as a large quantity. I’ve seen people with hundreds of items NWT.
I’ve appealed and even emailed their legal team, but I still haven’t received any real explanation or resolution. On the chat they said that the decision it’s final and blocked me from sending any more messages.
I’ve spent countless hours sourcing these items, photographing them, writing the listings and building my wardrobe. It took a huge amount of time and effort, and now I honestly feel hopeless.
Has anyone been through this and actually managed to get their account back? If so, what did you do?
