So I’m watching through the season for the first time and just got past the RJ reveal and the placement is really weird to me- >!episode 8 in a 22 episode season?!< (Unsure if that counts as a spoiler)

Most shows save their big reveals etc for the season finale, even middle of the season would have made sense

There might be no answer for this but I was curious if anyone had any ideas or reasons for it? Maybe it’s been discussed before

I’m not American, so maybe there’s some kind of American TV context I’m missing (I think I’ve come across the idea of “sweeps week” before for example)
