Question about project types

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if I'm beating a dead horse with this question, but DuckDuckGo troubleshooting wasn't getting me far.

I have just, pretty much, finished my first project in Animate. When I started, I didn't know anything about project types or what would work for this situation. I flippantly selected "Canvas," because I had planned on just messing around with it, not doing a full project. I'm now at the stage of rendering and exporting it (ideally to an mp4). I'm realizing now though that this project type/platform was probably not the correct choice for what I'm doing! When I tried exporting video/media, I got an error and the renderer wouldn't queue it up. When I exported as a movie (swf?) and tried to convert it to an mp4 online, the file returned an error.

What would be the best way for me to get the project rendered, ideally to an swf or mp4?

For context, the project uses png files (made in Photoshop because I'm not experienced yet with illustrator so I did everything with huge canvas sizes and converting to symbols rather than drawing with vectors) and mp3 files. There isn't any video files in the project. All of the files that I'm using are in the same folder on my hard drive too, since I wasn't sure if that would have an impact on rendering. The full length is about 20s. I can provide more details in comments if there is anything relevant that I haven't included! I'm also happy to post the final result once I figure this out.

Thank you!
