I had three surgeries in 2025 on a large submucosal fibroid, which was half in the endometrium and half in the cavity. Each surgery was done hysteroscopically and they cut away the fibroid growing into the cavity.

I had two FETs in Feb and March, each had total implantation failure.

I had a 4th surgery in April to cut back the fibroid again and they found a large adenomyoma as well (which they did their best to excise).

My surgeon said I’ve probably always had diffuse adenomyosis and the surgeries caused the focal adenomyoma.

Next steps are two months lupron suppression before another FET.

Could anyone who’s had success with both fibroids and adeno please share their story? And also their protocol?

I had three surgeries to remove fibroids through 2025 and finally in 2026 I got the clear for FET, but unfortunately we had two FETs fail… we had total implantation failure for both. I had a fourth surgery in early April that revealed a large adenomyoma in the cavity, which my surgeon did her best to excise… afterward my surgeon diagnosed me with focal and diffuse adenomyosis.

I’ve been researching down-regulation for adenomyosis ahead of my next FET and it seems like a combo of both lupron and letrozole 5mg daily has the best outcomes… unfortunately my fertility clinic wants me to do just lupron but I’d like to be as aggressive as possible. I’m pulling together my own research to convince them to give me both.
