I understand we have six?eight?months post retirement to get Part B. Is this a money saver if I wait a few months after retiring to apply for it...vs immediately applying?( I'm assuming I'll be billed immediately)

Has anyone gotten new DVR boxes lately? The remote is horrible. The fast forwarding is horrible. WORST of all, you can't search for a TV show to set up for taping...you have to page through the guide. I'm about ready to call it quits with Verizon
