Half marathon in a month, help me plan my training
I ran a marathon 3 weeks ago (just under 5hrs) and have a half in the diary in 4 weeks time. I’ve taken the last 3 weeks to recover from the marathon (a week off + a few gentle runs in the second week, and have been gradually increasing again this third week (25k total this week, 10k longest run).
How would you suggest I manage the next 4 weeks? I’ve never done two races close together so have only ever followed plans that incrementally increase mileage towards a race.
The half is a “just for fun” trail race and I’m not fussed about pace just getting round.
