First W2T miss for me. Anyone try it? Waxcap 2026
Obviously this is an experimental batch. I knew that going in, I’m not sad necessarily but I was really hoping for something awesome.
I feel like instead of the ferment and the charcoal roast meshing together to make something new, it just sort of tastes like a slightly off flavored and one-note roast. I actually prefer the aftertaste far more than the aroma or taste.
Gonna sit on it for a while before trying again. Maybe it needs more rest. Curious anyone else’s opinions?
