I need help with this!
Guys, if anyone can help me, please do. I have a big problem with writing. I mean, making up end for my story. I've made up a lot of stories in my head, and I think they're really good ideas, but every one dosen't end. I have bearly maybe one or two that ended somehow because I've decided I want to work on better ones.
Anyway, I don't know how to end a story. Geniunley. Everything's feels like it's already seen. Litrelly everything. No matter how hard I try, my story will be simmilar to someone's else's book, movie or seria without me meaning to do it. I know it'll be written by me, and everyone has their own style of writing- but god do I overthink how to end it.
If it has a happy ending, it's lame or forgettable. Your story has to be extremly good or tense for a happy ending to settle right. I don't want my story to be something people forget in few weeks after reading it. On the other hand, sad ending are not as unusual anymore. I've seen it in books and media- people ending their story tragicly, and making it burn into your mind if you liked the characters. But still, how is my story any different from others? It's very risky to kill your MC, or very close character to him that's basicly your other MC.
Is it just me, or both options don't simply feel right. It's like I want something that's neither but can't get to it. I don't know if this makes sense – anyone with writing expirience please feel free to share it. And how do you even know if your MC is supposed to die or not? I woudn't kill them just for the impact- I'd do it if it had a purpose. On the other hand, it feels wrong. Everything's either okay or not and it drives me crazy.
