As the title suggests, earlier this week the desktop I built around 15 years ago finally died. (Or I should say the GPU burned out). I originally built it for high end gaming, but these days I dont have the time for it. If all the hardware wasn't terribly outdated I would consider replacing the GPU but it's all pretty outdated at this point.

What I'm looking for is a decent laptop that won't break the bank (1k or less ideally). I don't game like I used to, but it at least needs to be capable of simultaneously running Discord for voice and video, OBS (or other recording software) for recording, and a web browser VTT.

Any advice or suggestions would be immensely appreciated!
