Mitt Romney is back (sort of)
After voting to convict Trump twice, Romney is stepping back into national politics to help Susan Collins' reelection.
I find it hard to believe Romney actually understands the threat that Trump represents if he's going to actively try and protect the GOP majority. We've all seen just how useless Collins is as a check on Trump, and I'm appalled by Romney's choice to wade back into national politics just to try and prop her up.
This may be his last act in national politics, and it should be to his everlasting shame that he's using it to fight on behalf of MAGA.
