Places to rent - Not a student
Hi!
I am moving to Athens, hopefully sometime in July, and being unfamiliar with the are, I'm not too certain the neighborhoods I should be looking at.
So far I've looked at places like Snapfinger and Normaltown but they seem to only have a few options that fit my needs. I also have no idea where East side is (I assume near the east of the highway intersection area?).
Some info:
* Ill be a professor at UGA so I'd prefer not living in primarily student housing, I don't mind being near students though!
* I have a cat
* Budget: preferably less than 3k
* I'd prefer like a home, townhouse, etc. I just don't want every single wall to be shared with a neighbor.
* 3 bedroom rental
So far the best contenders seem to be:
- Covey Homes
- Some places in the Milford Hills Neighborhood/Snapfinger Dr
- Holden (but ehh, it's too apartment-y.)
- The Cottages at Ridgepoint
If anyone has insight to these places or other areas I should look at I would be incredibly thankful.
