New to Vic - can I just pay for my kid to do some 3yo sessional kinder this year? Confused
Just moved to Vic, daughter about to turn 3.
I understand she’s not eligible for this ‘funded kinder’ due to her bday being too late in the year - but can I just pay fees and have her go to a sessional 3yo kinder anyway? And then do the funded spot next year? I can’t seem to find an answer to this anywhere.
Reason I’m wondering is I don’t like any of the nearby childcare options that currently have vacancies :( am on waitlists but have been told by some that we won’t get a spot anyway cuz they prioritise spots in the 3yo room for these funded kinder spots!
