Norwegian Thrift find
I hope its ok posting non-filofax brands here. In norway in the 80s two brands of ringbinders emerged. Both compatible with Filofax rings, alltho their inserts vary by a few milimeters. They both still exist, but mostly selling faux leather covers new.
Ive been looking for a personal size rings that feels good and not faux leather and stiffening materials. So imagine my joy when i went thriftshopping and found this leather Grieg ring binder in personal size😍
It has embossing for a norwegian union for teachers and educators, so it was probably given to a union rep or similar, im guessing possibly in the 2000s. It feels great, minimal usage marks. Treated the leather, and now i finally have a personal sized binder i am not obsessed with replacing 😆 A big bonus is that is wider rings than what is usually in the faux leather versions.
