So me and my best friend met at his parents place for the first time in years (we did this because he is studying in a different city and I live in another one and this was an easy solution). And I met his parents and his father didn't know I was changing and upon hearing that I was transitioning was just like "As long as you're happy." And his mother got told at some point earlier and just referred to me by a shortened version of my name.

And it's awesome that these people who knew me as this weird guy who is best friends with their son for years just accept that I want to transition.
