I got this collection of planes recently and there are three planes I wanted some help deciphering.
The first with one with the very narrow blade. I am confused as to what that would be used for, or if its missing a piece?
With the plough/plow/grooving plane, it looks shop made and I want adjust the fence depth and width. There are two empty screw holes, so I was thinking the maker had inserts to set it. Alternatively I am thinking of using it for parts and making a plane that is set to the depth and width I want for drawer bottoms.
The last is a little plane that I am thinking was used to clean up dados maybe? The blade is lined up with the fence on one side but is very deep. I've never seen anything like it.
There are also two missing blades so if you can point me in the right direction for making cutting irons, I would be most grateful.
