ebay only pushing cheap sh*t?
i'm from the EU and i sell slightly nicer jewelry, not super cheap sh*t for like under 10 bucks. mine costs around 20€ with free shipping (+quanitity discounts up to 20%) and ebay is constantly pushing me to lower my prices to like 8€ like the chinese competitors, which is crazy. i would be selling at a loss and it feels like ebay really doesnt like anyhting that is even remotely upscale and high quality. is ebay just not the right place to sell anything middle class? only cheap junk? i was afraid ebay would only attract a very price sensitive target audience, which they heavily seem to cater to. or does a slightly higher price just make it really hard to gain traction but once it does its fine? should i sell at a loss in the beginning to make ebay happy and get things going? or would i be better off moving things to shopify when i cant compete with the super cheap junk?
