What made you stop using a mood tracker? Looking for honest answers
I've noticed most people who try mood tracking apps quit within 2–3 weeks. I'm trying to understand why.
Not looking for feature requests — more curious about the friction that kills the habit. Was it:
- Felt pointless after a while (no insight from the data)?
- Too much effort to log consistently?
- The app felt clinical / emotionally cold?
- You forgot, then felt guilty, then deleted it?
- Something else entirely?
If you *did* stick with one long-term — what made it different?
Genuinely trying to understand the pattern here. Happy to share what I find.
