I have dual sim. RCS on SIM 1 works fine with no issues.
Last week SIM 2 started randomly not working despite the RCS options menu stating that SIM 2 was connected and verified.
By not working, it gives me an error and messages won't send via RCS, I have to send via and others messaging me have to message me via SMS and not RCS because they get a failed to send message.
Clearing the Cache of Messages and Carrier services doesn't fix the issue but turning off SIM 2 RCS and re enabling it seems to fix the issue.
SIM 1 and SIM 2 are technically on different networks but are on the same backend network. (For Australians SIM1 is JB Hi-FI and SIM2 is Boost, both are resellers for Telstra)
Ideally, I would like to prevent this issue from occurring.
Does anyone have any ideas?
