Chance to relocate to USA am I crazy for considering?
Long story short.
Job offer, good potential, not guaranteed it will work out but likely will result in a residency visa / citizenship.
The deciding part the money I have for a deposit on a house in Australia can purchase a beautiful home with approximately a US$60,000 loan.
$100USD~ weekly loan repayment… 20 year loan.
I feel like I can’t make it in this country, if I buy a home here I’ll have 30 years of repayments $800 + a week
Am I stupid for not taking this easy life path and moving? It’s like something I’ve always wanted is just going to be handed to me so easily.
The area I’ll be relocating to has good crime statistics no worse really than where I live now.
What would you do?
Edit thank you all, I realise it’s housing insecurity that is pushing Me to America. America offers safety with housing and nothing else.
