The previous owner installed this aftermarket decorative body line. They are riveted to the body panels. Obviously this means some idiot drilled holes into every panel on my car.
I recently damaged my fender and have to replace it. I need to reinstall this decorative body line to match the car. It is 5/8” thick and a little over 3’ long. It is made of aluminum.
Have you guys had any luck with double sided 3M tape? This being a car I need the trim piece to survive 100mph+ winds, power washing, all temperatures, and bumpy roads.
If not, I guess it will have to be riveted.
