Looking for autistic youth (15-19) to advise on a project about diagnostic waiting lists!
Hi everyone 👋 I’m Zora, a trainee clinical psychologist. I’m currently working on a project exploring young people's experiences on the autism assessment waiting list, and how this impacts their perceived agency and relationships.
I’m looking for autistic young people (aged 15-19) who would be interested in helping guide this project by becoming an "Expert by Experience" on an advisory panel.
To clarify: You would not be a research participant being studied. You won't be asked specific questions about your own assessment. Instead, you'd be acting as a consultant, using your lived experience to help shape and improve my research!
The commitment involves occasional meetings over the course of about a year (online or face-to-face, depending on your preference). Everyone on the panel is compensated for their time and input for each meeting they attend.
If you’re interested or have any questions about how it works, please send me a DM on here or drop a comment below, and I will share my university contact email with you. Thank you! :)
