I have had good experiences with PBP, but had to leave all of my games last year due to a combination of autistic burnout and real life getting in the way. I'm now in a place where I'm considering getting back into it, as I really like PBP as a way to play games together and meet new people. However I don't want to fully commit to a game yet, as I don't know if I can sustain anything. To put it another way, committing to a game now would be an experiment with a very uncertain outcome and that's not fair on my fellow players. It was painful to have to leave those games, and I'd like to avoid that sort of situation if possible.

I've mostly been playing solo over the past while, and I had the thought that parallel solo play might be fun. The basic idea would be that everyone has their own games and posts reports, worldbuilding, journal entries, thoughts on what's going on or explorations of why they interpreted something the way they did, maybe short IC or OOC writing ... whatever they want really. I'd like to see how other people play solo, and it would be fun and motivating to have others see what I'm playing. It'd also be a good low-pressure low-responsibility way to slowly get back into PBP.

So my question is, does anything like this exist? It could be for a specific game, or a shared space where people run whatever game they like for themselves. I'm interested in both.
