My H450 is getting hotter than usual since last couple of weeks. Please read below.

Hi guys,

I have had my H450 for more than a year now,
But recently it seems like the heating has increased or I’m feeling more hot air than usual.

So this basically comes after a service(ofcourse🤣),

I had a normal service for chain lube, setting, brake pads cleaning.

But then after that service, the chain made this small “kat-kat” sound when moving the bike manually in the parking, so I realised that the chain is too tight. (No heating issue so far)

So I went back to get the slack checked and set it again, so the guy did it, but he did the one side allen screw and then tightened the wheel and then did the other side of the allen screw setting.

I asked him is this fine, you should be fitting the wheel nut at the end, he said no problem.

I saw the markings, but there wasn’t any significant difference( even today). But then later the disc and the brake pads started making that squeaky noise sometimes when moving the bike manually.

But then I started to feel the engine getting hotter than usual, the temperature levels are always in the second last line, radiator is also turning on and off as it does. Not sure if the temperature levels are fine, but Im feeling the hot air on my feet way too much than before, almost unbearable.

The heating or the hot air is mostly coming through the right side, mostly towards the bottom near the feat but also a bit on the top side my tank sides are getting the hot air too, but Im also feeling it sometimes on the left side now near the feet. If the temperature levels are fine, why am I feeling more heat? The kindof footwear and clothes has been similar.

So now there is a chain slack problem again for sure, when i do the free rotation on center stand, the wheel feels tighter at some spots, not a smooth rotation, more resistance is there.

And i tried checking the coolant levels, but just couldn’t figure out or couldn’t see where the level is.

The rear brake pads are definitely rubbing against the disc more closely than they should.

Also the engine sound isn’t as clean as it usually is, there is more kindoff noise/tapit noise, not the clear thud.

The temperature levels never reach the red line, but sometimes when i switch off the engine, the levels reach the red line slightly and come down again within few mins.

This is only the chain and brake pads settings or something else?
