Brought Her Home, Finally!

It's been two days, since I took the delivery of my RE Himalayan Kaza Brown with Cross Section Tubeless Tyres. Getting her home wasn't less than a battle. Had to fight with the showroom guys after they sold my customized bike to someone else and told me to wait for another month!.. (I posted the entire earlier)

So, it's been two days, and I've already clocked 250kms on the odo. So far, so good. Since I own a RE Classic 350 Reborn, the weight of the motorcycle is not an issue & since 6'1, the taller stance of the Himalayan makes the riding so comfortable.

Since, it is a taller motorcycle, its center of gravity is on the aggressive side. This sometimes makes bringing the bike to a sudden standstill tricky.

Carplay for bikes

I got my new himmy 450 last week and I’m planning for long rides. I need a genuine suggestion on using carplay. Since I have an iPhone and using it for navigation can damage the camera, I’m thinking about installing carplay. The only problem I have with CarPlay is that it doesn’t show bike routes( a problem with expressways where bikes are not allowed). Last option I have is to buy a secondary phone for navigation!

Intercom Review

Hello,

I’m planning to buy the C40 intercom and would like to know how it performs in real-world usage. If anyone has used it, could you share your review?

How does it compare to the C30? Is the C40 worth choosing over the C30?
I’d appreciate your experiences and suggestions.

Also, I have a helmet the SMK Stellar Green with a beak bent design at the back . Could you guide me on where exactly the intercom should be installed?

Any chance to contact royal Enfield manufacturers?

I booked my Himalayan on 26th April. The tentative date for delivery was showing on 27th may. Today when i checked (ie 20th may) its showing tentative delivery date is 17th june. Neither am getting any support from the dealer nor from royal Enfield. Just can't understand how Royal Enfield can make their customers wait.

When i ask Royal Enfield... They say to contact the dealer... When i call the dealer they say nothing is in their hands since its a custom vehicle. If anyone can help me please do.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Paid Reviews Without Disclosure

2026 - The Do it All Machine

All videos posted in a span of last 3-7 days, highlighting Himalayan as an all rounder bike. None of these creators disclosed that these are paid videos. No negative stuff, just pure PR language. How easy to buy these creators, and make them say stuff you want. I absolutely love Himalayan 450 for what it delivers at that price point but these videos make zero sense.

We should question these YouTubers, whom we trust before buying a new bike on how easily Money can bend their opinions, and and the most surprising part is that all these YouTubers seem quite genuine, but after getting money from the brand, no one disclosed, these are paid videos.

Confused about next bike purchase

I have been considering buying a new ADV for a while now. The best ones in my price range is the RE Himalayan 450 and KTM Adventure 390. I am on the fence on both of these motorcycles. They’re both segment leaders and cater to different riders.

My stats:
- I currently own a domaine 400 so riding bigger bikes aren’t new to me
- I’m 5’3, 29 inches inseam.
- I go on a lot of motorcycle rides. I’ve completed all of South India on my Dominar 400. I am positive that no matter what I end up buying, I’ll tour on it for sure.

My thoughts:
- I’m a believer of having skills to ride. A taller rider with no skills can still drop the bike and have accidents. That doesn’t discount the fact that the H450 is a big bike and would be difficult to manage in traffic and technical off-road situations.
- My partner will be joining me on long rides. Maybe 1 in 3 of the rides. I’ve ridden both bikes and can confidently accept that the 390 is a no-go for pillions. This automatically eliminates the motorcycle from my list, but:
- One of the main points I have in mind looking for the next bike is that I want something agile and quick, like the 390. I have ridden the h450 and it’s not as quick and agile as the 390, for obvious reasons.
- No matter which motorcycle I buy, I intend to practice my off-road skills with it and I know for sure that the H450 will have a pretty steep learning curve just because of the weight itself. I tried the 390 and it felt like home. Perfect riding triangle and the light weight makes for a very flickable and manageable motorcycle.

The reason I’m posting here is - I want to know how the other H450 owners feel about this motorcycle. Do you miss the suite of electronics the competition offers? Would you like your H450 to be a bit lighter and quicker? Both the H450 and the 390 are really good motorcycles in their rite but I feel like I’m leaning towards the 390 for its ease of riding and sheer fun (can’t discount that it’s so much more forgiving for shorter riders like myself); however, I’m only looking at the Himalayan 450 to be able to ride with my partner. If she wasn’t interested in riding, I would probably just buy the 390 x plus.

No offense meant to any of the H450 riders. I absolutely loved the H450 with the stock 825mm seat when I tried my friend’s motorcycle but I’m honestly a little tired of these big boys and want something that moves quick and is light at its feet.

YSS on Interceptor vs Himalayan 450

Hi all,

I have an interceptor that I got few months back. I also rented the Himalayan 450 for a day in Mumbai and test rode it for 120kms approx.

I loved the Himalayan suspension, so wanted to know how different is the Himalayan’s suspension compared to the ‘YSS’ suspensions (both front and back) on the Interceptor.

I know YSS won’t make the interceptor as good as the Himalayan, but would the difference still be startlingly different?

Any inputs from any folks who have ridden the interceptor with YSS shocks and the Himalayan would be really helpful.

Thanks again for reading this and taking out your time :)

Solo ride from Bangalore to The Nilgiris (Ooty)to my grandparents home.

Drove around 791 Kms (both ways)
Got around 36Avg on highways and it dropped to 30Avg on ghat sections.

It was my first dream ride to the nilgirs and enjoyed every second of ride.

Suddenly power cut after gear shifting

This has been happening for the last 2–3 months, but it has become more frequent this month. When I shift from 1st to 2nd gear and the RPM drops, there is a sudden loss of power and the engine shuts off. It has also happened while shifting into 3rd gear. It happened again today, and I captured it in this video.

I’ll take it to the sc, but could you please let me know what might be causing this issue?
