Going with my family (4 people) — which is the better AI option?

I blew out one of the tires of my mom’s car because I accidentally hit the side of the road. My parents are pissed. I called my dad and he ended up checking out some tire stores to compare prices for a spare tire & installation. Background info: my mom doesn’t like my current bf bc she doesn’t think he has enough money and doesn’t do anything for me that she considers is “valuable” or “difficult”. She told me that in the future I should call my bf to help instead and to stop “asking her husband” to help me. She says that just like how I feel bad for asking my bf to do stuff for me, she feels pained when her husband has to do things.

I didn’t think anything of it at first, but the more I think, the more weird I feel about that comment.
