Hi everyone!
Currently shooting on a Sony A7siii and have a Comica VP3 used for audio by using a 3.5mm jack to connect it to my camera.
I've been told and seen over the internet that by using an external recorder it will massively improve my audio in my videos. The main problem is that I film sports as a career and am constantly recording and stopping recording in case of a highlight play, and from what I've found from research there aren't a lot if not any external recorders that are triggered from camera other than the sony xlr top handle which is absurdly expensive imo.
My question is
A) is there really no other options as to external recorders that can be triggered by the camera.
B ) If there are any, which one is best?
