Career advice

Hi! So I’m a 23 yr old stepping into my first corporate job it’s not that big but I’m going to be a research/ admin assistant at a big research institute linked with a big hospital in downtown Toronto. I wanted to know from people who have worked roles like this before if they would have any tips or advice for me. I really wish to grow within the organisation.
Some things the job requires and I have are good organisation skills as well as I’m able to be proactive and not just wait for instructions and try to figure things out on my own. On the research side, they expect REB submissions and getting together grant documents etc.
If anyone would have any advice on how I can grow from this role within this same research institute/ hospital, please let me know. Additionally, any tips on how to actually maintain a relationship with your supervisor/ manager and PIs/ scientists would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for all your advice :)))

Clinical research volunteer at sickkids interview

Hello people of Reddit,

I need some help! Would appreciate if you have any advice for me. I’ve received an interview for a volunteer position at sickkids but have little to no knowledge of what will be asked of me and the interview is in person which is kind of making me nervous. Any ideas what interview questions I should prepare for and if I should give them a copy of my resume to them at the end of my interview?

For context: I’d put in this application to work in a specific lab that I’m highly interested to join and I’ve looked at all the programs they’re currently working on and I’ve familiarised myself with what they are and I’ve been following their research for a while. Anything else I should be doing?

All advice is welcome!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate all your help :))
