Question regarding drug testing
Interviewed and received a conditional job offer from a local institution, based on the results of my background and checks.
HR asked me in 2 separate emails to provide them a date and time last week that I would be available for a drug test.
I not only responded 2x, I sent a follow up email outlining my availability.
What should I make of this, if anything.
It's fine if they are not interested, but I have other options and am currently in the 3rd round of a 5 round process with another agency, that pays just as much.
The first agency is aware of that, so I feel that they may be wanting me to avoid proceeding with the second agency, but not really committing until the results of the background.
I will add, that when the first agency found out I was a serious candidate with the second agency, they increased the salary 20%, but added an expanded shift, that was not originally communicated by HR, over the phone.
Any thoughts regarding the ignored emails on drug testing?...Thank you in advance.
