Intern Looking for Summer sublet (room) June 14 - August 21
Hello! I'm trying my luck here since the Craigslist scam-to-real-listing ratio has been brutal.
I'm a rising senior at a small liberal arts college in MN, originally from Chicago, and I'll be in NYC this summer for a political consulting internship in Midtown. I'm looking for a private room in a shared apartment, ideally around $1,300 to $1,900 a month including utilities. Open to anywhere with a reasonable commute to Midtown in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Harlem.
About me: 21, studying political science with a minor in Chinese. I studied at National Taiwan University last fall, so a neighborhood where I could keep practicing Mandarin would be a huge bonus, but obviously not a requirement. I'm clean, quiet, responsible, and easy to live with. I love running, reading, and following politics.
If you have a room, know someone who's subletting, or just have honest neighborhood advice for a first-time NYC summer, I'd love to hear from you. Also happy to provide references from work, school, and friends.
