Scammed by Grok Heavy ($300 plan) – $99 promo delivers nothing, worse than SuperGrok last month
Hi everyone,
I upgraded to the new Grok Heavy subscription lured by the $99/month promotional price (67% off the normal $300/month). The advertising promised much higher limits for image and video generation.
After only two days, I’m extremely disappointed. The generation limits are exactly the same as my previous SuperGrok plan — or even worse. Yesterday (my second day) I couldn’t generate a single image or video during the entire day.
This $99 promo is delivering absolutely nothing new. It feels inferior to what SuperGrok offered just last month.
Honestly, this feels like a scam. They charge a premium price (even at the discounted $99) promising a big upgrade, but in practice it’s the same (or worse) experience with constant rate limits.
Has anyone else had this problem with Grok Heavy or the $99 promo? Is this normal?
