How strict is warwick regarding extenuating circumstances for a level resits applicants after year 13?? Like how significant do the circumstances have to be?

Hi guys basically I missed my offer this year for accounting and finance but I am planning on resitting and applying again. But the website says that students who resit after year 13 are at a disadvantage. Can someone give me success stories of resitting a levels and still getting in to make me feel better 😭😭🤣
