Background: I’m American. I have close Korean friends who never really shared much of their history or knowledge about the country so I was floored by how little I actually knew while watching Mr. Sunshine, My Dearest, the Red Sleeve and Gyeongseong Creature. And these probably only scratch the surface.
I know this is a tough thing to narrow down as I’ve tried to do it with American tv and movies and finally came up with a very strange result. Not a single person I asked gave me the same response btw 😂.
