I am trying to build a chuppah for a proposal. I know this is not traditional use for this item but I’m also not Jewish and want to make this special.

In the show Gilmore girls Luke Danes builds one for Lorelei. This is one of her favorite shows ever so I want to make a chuppah for popping the question.

If a “chuppah” is not exactly what I’m looking for to I would love to be informed about other alternatives.

I want somthing we can stand under while I propose.

I need help on why tools I need and how I should go about this. The picture posted is the idea I’m going for. Any help would be great thank you!!
