Smoke over Metro Vancouver?
Anybody know where all the smoke is pouring in from? It looks like wildfire smoke.

Anybody know where all the smoke is pouring in from? It looks like wildfire smoke.
As we all know UBC changed its naq requirements with 10/21 entries being job entries. I want to just get an idea of how many job entries people will be putting this cycle?
Does anybody know if the 30 cars questions and the total 120 questions under “What’s on the MCAT?” Are harder or easier than the real deal?
How do people share UPangea without giving away their personal information? I see all the time people sharing it.
Just a speculation - will seat increase due to UM150 for medicine?
I was offered a scholarship to attend an Australian Med University so my fees will be reduced by a great deal. I am just trying to now figure out how to come back to Canada and what the process is and if I should even take up this offer as my whole goal is to study in Canada. Does anybody know how coming back to Canada from Australia works?
If we want to suggest to a school that they should adopt/ change a policy, for example adjusted gpa, addition/removal of mcat or Casper, ecs considerations etc etc, whatever the school has, is there a way to do this? Ik for the most part schools will ignore this but is there a way to get our voices heard or anybody we can email to let them know?
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I am student that graduated in February and have been on the search for research jobs, but I haven’t been successful at all. I tried applying to different company websites sent cover letters also applied to Manitoba Health websites but no luck. I am not in a position to afford any new educational programs so if people have any leads with a bachelors degree please let me know.
I got a post interview R this cycle and I am trying to figure out what I can do to work on MMI between the cycle. I noticed a lot of applicants during discord practice came off very strong while I didn’t feel as confident. What are resources people used to improve themselves as I personally believe that MMI was my only weak point.
Based on the increases seen recently on applications, are we predicting schools such as Queens, TMU and UofT to start seeing 15K applicants while UBC be at 8,000? I’m just adding a 1,000 applicants each year as that’s how many get rejected and choose to reapply + new people get added to the application lists every year and for ubc adding approx +500/year.
15K will be a fun number to compete with. Imagine beating 15K people to get into medicine, you would be so smart.
What is internal cutoff and does that mean any gpa below cutoff isn’t considered?
I am not sure exactly how to calculate my gpa but it seems to be 3.10 as a Canadian graduate. Is it possible to gain admission especially at RCSI Bahrain?
Were there any people accepted into medicine with a gpa below 4.0 this past cycle? It seems that UManitoba Medicine is moving towards gpa because not a single person below 4.0 was accepted.
Note: If you got in below 4.0 and don’t feel comfortable sharing please dm. Thanks
I’m just starting to think about this after an unsuccessful cycle in Canada. For those who who have gone to RCSI Bahrain is it basically an Irish School in Bahrain where you become an IMG to try to match back to Canada?
Congrats to everyone who got an A or WL! I was lucky enough to secure a MMI but did not make it very far. Is there anything you started doing from May till February to make sure you did amazing in the MMI. I think it’s just the MMi that’s holding me back. Pls help.
Title. Feeling discouraged
Nobody wants to know about your cat cafes, please.
I am lowkey going crazy. Good luck everyone waiting for a decision this week!
Did anybody’s decision box move up for UManitoba Medicine admission and does anybody know what that means?
