False Positives
Okay, I am currently on the Copper IUD for birth control. It has kind of given me irregular periods with length and flow. I’ve also had it for 7 months now, just for some context.
So, in April I took some tests because I threw up was having night sweats, and headache. I took a pink dye First Response tests and it was negative. Then some days later I took more and one had a faint line (first photo) I ended up going to the doctor and they gave me a urine pregnancy stick test as well but it was negative. I go home and decide to take another one and then get a darker but skinnier line(2nd photo). After this I ended up getting my period which was super light the first 4 days and then continued heavy for the next 4 days, which is irregular for me. I got a blood test just to confirm and it was negative.
Fast forward to this May, Itook some tests early just in case because of my IUD im trying to stay alert about the possibility of pregnancy. At 8dpo I got my first faint positive (third photo) and then some negative and some more positives. I took some Clear Blue digitals and blue dye which were negative the same night. Over the course of several days I was getting some positives still. I tested on the day my period was supposed to start and got a darker line (4th photo). I keep getting some negative tests however and I haven’t took a digital since 8dpo.
I had some mucusy red blood 3 days after my period was supposed to start and thought I would continue to bleed, but the bleeding stopped and cramping stopped. I’m taking tests and still feel like I see shadow positives but not really. No blood just super light milky discharge?
What should I do. Doctors have not suggested an ultrasound.
