Speeding ticket but radar did not go off

I have a uniden r3, while it’s not the most advanced it has always picked up cops with their radar on, never once gotten a ticket. It picks up X, K, KA, and laser. Tonight I got pulled over for “48 in a 25” on my way home in a street I do not go crazy on. My car does make sound, not obnoxiously loud, but enough for a cop to turn their head. My radar did not pick his up once, when he was right in front of me, or when he got behind me. I asked to see the clocked speed, he said it was in his car and it has been recalibrated. Is there a good chance if I go to court that he won’t have my “48mph” speed saved? It’s just crazy to me that it has never gave me a problem for years, is there a new laser they’re using or something??!! Either way any advice would be helpful as I’m fine with them lowering the ticket price if anything, it’s my first speeding ticket. I’m in NJ

First time renter

I’m moving into a shared house floor with 3 others girls, 2 of which are my past coworkers. I am not worried much about conflict with them considering they keep things clean, pitch in for things such as toilet paper and detergent, and have schedules for trash days. I’m more so worried about things that I will forget to bring/buy that I’ll notice too late. For example, my own pots and pans, my own towels, cleaning supplies, seasonings/oil, etc. Any advice on any little thing that you might’ve wish you bought/grateful you did would help a lot, or money saving tips. I’ll also just take any advice in general lol, it will be my first time renting and I work 7 days a week and move in date is the 1st!
