I recently have become interested in buying a 2nd Gen Sequoia due to the nature of my career - hauling large music equipment. With reliability ratings as well as their probability to go for many miles, they’re definitely feeling like the better choice compared to a suburban or an expedition. maybe you all might say that’s incorrect!
There’s two that I’m currently looking at and I’m curious of your alls opinion of which would be worth considering if either. If neither is, what should I begin looking for?
Since this is a vehicle primarily for business use, I’d like to stay under $20,000.
the first is a private owned 2011 sequoia platinum 4x4. it is priced as 13,500. very clean interior, no accidents, listed as having 5 owners though I have no idea of that history other than it was owned in PA then in TN. The owner has had it for 5 years. It has minimal rust if hardly any on the frame. 220,000 miles.
the second is a used car dealer 2013 sequoia limited 4x4. priced at 13,999. also clean interior though not as clean as the private owned one. three owner and southern owned. I have no pictures of the frame. 216,000 miles. ETA : has history of one minor accident.
Do the number of owners matter so much? are either of them a good deal? which would you choose and why? and if neither - what would you look for?
