High Blood Pressure From Pain?

25yr Old Male

165cm Tall

Meds:

27mg Concerta for ADHD

7.5mg Meloxicam For Pain

So my doc is pretty sure I have Ankylosing Spondylitis due to my many symptoms..

- HLA-B27 +

- CRP Mildly Elevated (at 6 a few months ago, need to check again)

- Grade 2 "Osteoarthritis" in both SI joints

- Enthesitis pain in my upper back, lower back, neck, ribcage, knees, elbows, shoulders, collarbone, dip and pip joints, hands, wrists, tops of feet, toes, ankles.. and inside ear?

- Tendon pain is typically mild, but sometimes becomes very sharp and impossible to deal with. Especially inside elbow, knee, and between thumb and index finger on top of hand.

- Developing these bumps of thickened skin that sometimes cut open on their own on my dip joints.

- Ulnar, radio and mid carpal effuisons in left wrist, effusion in mid carpal in right wrist, and effusion in left 5th dip joint.

- Muscle weakness on outside of left leg all the way down with sharp pain that starts at the hip and ends on top of foot.

- Uveitis, with white flashes in my vision at night, when my eyes are closed.

- IBS symptoms that come and go depending on flare intensity.

- Mood Swings when not taking NSAID's (Thinking my fight or flight response keeps getting activated. Feel angry and sad and nothing else usually.)

- Nausea

- Morning Chills

- Stiff for 2+ hours in the morning

- Brain Fog

- Hands, Feet and Back show nothing on XRAY minus a Spina Bifida Occulta malformation on my Spines S1 portion.

Also secondary to the main question, do ya'll think my Rheum is right about my diagnosis? Waiting on a second MRI and I don't think I can wait another 4 months... She said if my BP is high for a while they will bump up my MRI though.

My blood pressure spikes a lot when I'm in pain, to the point where it reaches 155/99 with bp 87 upon me WAKING UP in the morning.

It went down afterwards but still usually hovers around 140/90 and Meloxicam seems to bump my baseline BP up too.. but usually the next day after taking it, so maybe it's when it starts to wear off my BP rises?

When I'm not feeling like poop my BP is usually 127/83 w 62 bpm upon waking up.

She wants to put me on blood pressure meds but I've heard they are really bad to start at a young age (25) and I think my blood pressure issues come from my pain if anything.
