Hi everyone- I’ve used propranolol for awhile now for presentations and public speaking. However, I think I may have allergy induced asthma and want to switch to a selective beta blocker.

Has anyone used metropolol for public speaking and does it work as well as propranolol for adrenaline induced fast heart rate/ shortness of breath?

Whenever I use propanolol for public speaking, it always feels like right before it’s not going to work. I still get the dread and intense anxiety. Is this normal?

My biggest fear is running out of breath during presentations because it’s happened to me before and it’s mortifying!
