Omlyclo shot side effects ?

I had my first Omlyclo shots yesterday after not having Xolair for 2 months. I don’t know what is a normal side effect or requires more attention, but my mouth suddenly became super dry, I am quite tachycardic, and I feel lightheaded or somewhat out of it. My stomach hurts, too, and stomach cramping and rib compression is the side effect I had immediately after the first shot but it did ease up over a few hours.

I don’t know what my BP is. All I have is a pulse ox. Pulse was maxing out the pulse ox for a while, over 124 but now that I have taken Allegra about 20 min ago and laid down it is in 90’s.

Oxygen looks good, high 90s if this pulse ox is accurate. I do feel some sort of rib compression sensation again and my mouth is dry af.

AFAIK I have no way to call my doctor after hours. Figuring out what to do. I am in Canada, in AB.

Has anyone had these symptoms or side effects before and what did you do? Thanks in advance.

Relatable comic strip

Staying with a relative who still gets an actual newspaper, I came across this comic this morning and had a laugh.

Yep, that’s just how this condition can be…

When to epi? Always a question.

So I have been in some sort of flare for two days. Don’t know what the trigger was entirely. Been under a lot of stress and sleeping poorly. But that said, I had some expired Pepcid AC after I ran out of pantaprazole (40 mg) and ever since that plus walking outside in blowing dust and pollen, I began feeling unwell.

Mostly it began with a swollen uvula and a bit into my tonsils and left ear canal. But I could swallow. Eat. And function over it. So I did.

I was scheduled for an already late generic Xolair shot and I didn’t get it because nurses were concerned when I reported the swelling. They suggested it it doesn’t go down to see a doctor. Or go to ER.

I left without my shot and went out with a relative to do things to distract myself and hoped to lift my mood. Again, swollen but functional.

Came back to the house, had chicken & rice around 2. Okay. Whatever. But when I sat down to read or rest, my hR is high. 100+ I get up and it shoots up more. For me it is a sign I am reacting to something.

I took Allegra 180 mg around 6:15 and ate more rice around 7. Not much. Fist full. And had trouble finishing it. And after I suddenly felt hot and my HR went up again.
My clothes feel tight. My stomach feels crappy. No vomit. No diarrhea. Coughing a lot on and off. But my uvula is dangling a bit and so it is irritating. My clothes feel a bit tighter. I dunno.

I don’t know when to call it. I may be in this state a while oxygen looks okay. But I am not feeling great. Sigh.

In Canada. Whatever I do it may take a while. Brain weasels are having at it. I tell them I will be okay. I hope so.

Just asking has anybody been in a similar situation and what did you do? Not asking for medical advice & know you most likely are not a doctor. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i am hoping someone in Alberta, Canada sees this can help me out. But anyone who has had to stop
Xolair may be able to help me (read the last paragraph for that part.)

I have seen an allergist in AB and talked to a rep for Omlyclo, and applied for AB BC for drug coverage. My doctor has signed off on authorization for Omlyclo.

From here, what do I do? Do I have to wait to hear from AB BC that I have coverage? Or can I arrange for shots and pay upfront and get reimbursed later? How long does it take from doctor submitting authorization to getting the first injection, and where do you get it (allergist office, hospital, other clinic?) given the risk?

I applied early April and was given the impression it wouldn’t take long. The last Xolair shots I received in late March are wearing off, I can tell. :( And no one has given me instructions what to do about treating my symptoms while I am waiting. (I welcome general advice from any MCAS patient, in Canada or not around this.)

Thanks in advance!
