I’m having my second baby and the first time I had SUCH amazing nurses but I was induced unexpectedly so all I could do is write a thank you note 💔 gonna give birth at the same hospital but I’d like to bring some thank you gifts but I’m having a c section and usually stay for 3-4 days.

What’s the best way to bring a little thank you, idk if I should bring one large basket as by the time it’s day 4 my nurses wouldn’t get anything 🥲 so I’m thinking I do individual little packs and hand them out as the days go on?

What are your most favorite things you’ve ever received? TIA for all the suggestions 💕

My son just turned 2 last month and was diagnosed level 3 with GDD. No self injurious behaviors, not aggressive, is great in “overstimulating” environments like Disneyland, loud arcades, restaurants, large crowds etc. transitions are easy, no behaviors I’m really worried about tbh he’s just in his own little cute world. Hes very calm he just has trouble understanding cues like if we tap him on the shoulder he won’t look, also non-verbal for the most part (will spontaneously say a single word rarely) doesn’t point or gesture like waving hi, bye won’t respond to his name Long story short psychiatrist recommended 40 hrs. She did kinda throw in there that she puts 40 hrs bc insurances will decrease hours np but will fight you if you try to increase bc they don’t wanna pay.

I have a meeting w the clinic tomorrow to discuss hours, goals, do intake etc. is 40 hrs really beneficial? Or should I be firm about part time (4 hrs a day)…

Side note: he’s never been in daycare I stay home with him and he’s never spent the day away other than occasionally at grandmas. I feel like 8 hrs is way too much for a barely 2 yr old but if it’s in his best interest I’m definitely willing to try. And he does OT, PT, and speech already for 1 hr each a week
