I have an eyebrow piercing that I've been desperately trying to clean every day and keep sanitized but almost immediately after I got it pierced (6-8 months ago now) - plaque spot just bloomed and expanded around my eyebrow and above my eye. I've been thinking I just have to have it taken out at this point and let it heal properly because I'm terrified it's going to get infected and make my plaque and psoriasis worse or continue to tear and get infected above my eye. The piercing has already torn on the bottom hole, too.

Does anyone else have facial piercings and have any tips for controlling the plaque in that area? At least until I can book to get the bar out with my piercer?
