NKD Ti Kite

Man, this thing is awesome.

A lot more lightweight than I expected, it sounds really good (it's like a hollow ring), the ice pick is bouncier than my Serif, it feels quite neutral with plenty of end weight to rip through fans, and the jimping actually sticks out from the G10.

The packaging is great too, as always with LDY. Comes with their bandaids, a big microfibre cloth, and their circular screwdriver. I thought it would be a lot harder to get used to the reverse tanto than it actually was, but it's not an issue almost at all. The tip is diabolical, though, it will pierce skin at the slightest touch lol

I always said hazel, people on other subs disagreed. Opinions?

I know hazel is green-brown/amber and I agree with people that my eyes just aren't that, but they appear blue from uncomfortably close and muddy yellowish brown from a conversation distance.

Can't call them blue since they don't look blue, but they're not purely brown either, and they don't fit the proper definition of hazel. So what is it?

I got pushback on a different sub for calling these hazel, some people insisted I should call them blue, opinions?

I'm adding a whole bunch of pictures in different zoom levels and different light for as much context as possible. I know hazel is green/brown/amber and mine are more blue/amber, but surely they're not blue. In darker indoor light the blue is almost invisible.

NKD - Memento

It's finally here! I haven't had any time to flip it so I won't comment on that, but the first impressions are very positive.

It came in a really nice magnetic box, inside you find your knife in its sheath laid down on black packaging filler making sure nothing will happen to it. Together with the sheath, you also get spare hardware and I believe a Velcro patch with AT's logo, pretty sick.

And man, that colour. It's a lovely deep wine-red that I've never seen on any other balisong before. The last photos AT posted before shipping out must've been in some strong light since the red appeared a lot brighter which had me a bit worried, but the real thing is exactly as I wanted it.

It needs some lube and to break in so I don't know how bouncy it is and how it'll ultimately sound, and again I've not had any time to flip it yet, but so far it feels like a steal for €75 (a bit more after VAT, still a great price).
