best time/route to maximize birding

My husband and I would are starting to plan a trip for next year for our late honeymoon. We were originally to go around the one-year anniversary of our wedding (April) though we are flexible. I think we are leaning towards a boat-based trip. Finally, we are big birders and that is a big driver for this trip.

So far, I have read different advice for different species. If we are interested in maximizing the birds that we see, do you have recommendations on when we should go (is April OK, or another time of year?), and what would be the best route? Thank you!

Soft serve setting leaving a little behind

After being in this reddit for years, I finally got the ninja creami w/soft serve arm!!🤩

I’ve been making frozen yogurt so far, that’s either just frozen yogurt or frozen yogurt with fruit, like this blueberry one.

I’ve noticed that when I swirl the soft serve, there is always a little layer left in the machine that I can’t get out no matter how much pressure I put on the arm.

Have other’s experience this and have any suggestions? Worse case, I just eat that part from the pint but curious if there’s another way.

Social Activities (Game Nights, Trivia, Book Clubs, etc) Recommendations

Anyone have recommendations for cafes, bars, etc that host game nights, trivia, book clubs, walking clubs, etc on the Upper East Side? I know of these sorts of these in other neighborhoods but specifically looking for around here, to meet and make friends in the area.

Legionnaires cluster emerging on Upper East Side

They have found 14 cases, grown the area of concern to include 10075, 10028, and 10128, and saying to monitor symptons if you live, work, or visited these zip codes since last June. If we do regularly visit/live in these areas, what should we do for prevention? Wear a mask?

This question is somewhat inspired by the previous post on 66th vs 90th. I recently moved to 66th and have liked it (though agree with much of the drawbacks that folks mentioned in that thread).

My question is, do I live in the UES? From my understanding it is, yes because the UES starts where the park starts. However, when some people (especially non-NYers) ask what neighborhood I live in, and then what cross street, they are like "oh, you don't live in the real UES" or "no, you don't live in the UES."

I'm genuine asking because I don't want to sound stupid and kind of tired of this feedback.

Edit: Thank you, all! I felt like I was going crazy with the reactions I have been getting. 😅
