Post cerclage symptoms
Hi everyone, I’m a second time mom. My first was born via C-section as he refused to vacate the premises. This time around my anatomy scan found a shortening cervix which went from 2cm to 1cm in length and 1cm dilated in three days necessitating an emergency cerclage three days ago. Since the surgery I’ve felt below symptoms and I don’t know what is normal vs a cause for concern/failing stitch. I was discharged today, at 22 weeks, without a scan on the assumption that there are no issues with the stitch. Would love some post surgery experiences/expertise.
Immense rectal pressure and low back pain that comes and goes since the surgery. Drs hooked me up to a contraction monitor and didn’t find anything while I was in the hospital.
Brown spotting that today has a slight red tinge to it since I came home from the hospital today. I’m hoping it’s due to me moving around a bit more.
Feeling like the baby is now very low and heavy in my pelvis. Don’t remember feeling that way prior to the surgery. Last check she was breech, but I can feel kicking my cervix now. Ouch lightning crotch.
Are these common experiences or symptoms of failing stitch or labor or hopefully me overthinking every little thing?
