Been a 10.5 handicap for years and play a few times a month. Recently was playing one of my better rounds 4 weeks ago. Shot a 76, which when accounting for course, was more than 7 strokes lower than my handicap. It’s crazy when that happens due to every posted score going down 1 stroke. That got my handicap to 8.3. I then just shot a 77, another lowest. Now I’m a 7.9 handicap.

Anyone feel like being a mid to high single digits vs 10-12 handicap is all mental? I swear I am not playing more. 2 times a week max. I just finally stopped caring I was going to shoot really low. It kept me on the train without overthinking the back nine holes.
