Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice/experiences. I was told I have at least one endometrioma slightly larger than 4 cm on one of my ovaries, but I now have to repeat my ultrasound because my OB-GYN didn’t tell me it should ideally be done during cycle days 5–11. I had mine done right before my period, so my RE wants a clearer picture. My RE said my right ovary was in a good position and my left had lots of follicles.

My reproductive endocrinologist also suggested I consider laparoscopic surgery. I know everyone’s situation is different, but I’m feeling torn and would really appreciate hearing from others who have been in a similar position.

Did you choose surgery for an endometrioma, and if so, did it help with fertility/pain/outcomes? Or did you continue trying naturally without surgery? I’m 30 y/o

Just trying to hear different experiences while I figure out next steps. Thank you 💛
