A few months after becoming a parent, I really started missing my morning runs. I tried using our regular pushchair at first and quickly realised it just wasn’t designed for running with kids. Every bump felt awkward, steering was heavy, and it honestly made the whole run stressful instead of enjoyable.

We eventually switched to a proper running buggy from Out n About, and the difference was huge. Bigger air-filled wheels, better suspension, and a lightweight frame made runs feel smooth again, even on uneven paths and park trails.

What surprised me most was how much our little one enjoyed it too. Half the time they’re pointing at dogs and birds; the other half they’re asleep before I finish 5k 😂

When looking around, active parents should focus more on stability, suspension, and wheel size than just appearance. A well-made children's pushchair can greatly simplify outdoor runs and walks for both parents and kids.

Anyone else here using a running buggy regularly?
